Working with Falcon

From your first enquiry to the building work

Your starting point may be an idea, existing drawings or a defined scope. We begin with a conversation about the home and what you want to do.

From idea to handover

The steps, shaped around your project

The preparation sequence can vary. A project with existing drawings does not need to start in the same place as an early idea.

  1. Tell us about your plans

Share your name, phone number, property postcode and the type of work. Add a short message if you would like to. We can discuss drawings, timing and budget during follow-up.

  2. Discuss the home and arrange the next step

Our team will discuss your enquiry and arrange a visit where needed. Raise practical questions such as access and whether you intend to live at home during the work.

  3. Bring the design information together

If you need formal drawings or planning work, Falcon can arrange this through its design partner. If you already have plans, we can discuss the build against them. The professional scope and fees are agreed for the project.

  4. Agree the scope and quote

The quote sets out the proposed work, what Falcon supplies and which items you need to buy. Discuss any unclear detail before agreeing the work.

  5. Agree the next steps and schedule

Once the project scope is agreed, discuss the programme, access and the items you will be supplying. Any dates depend on the particular project.

  6. Carry out the building and fitting work

Falcon supplies the first-fix materials and performs the agreed building and fitting work. You buy the agreed second-fix items with guidance. Discuss proposed changes with us so their effect on the scope can be agreed.

  7. Review the work at handover

Go through the agreed work with us and raise anything that needs discussion. The handover details depend on the scope of your project.

Does requesting a quote book a visit?

No. Our team will discuss your enquiry and arrange the next step with you. The website does not automatically book an appointment.

Are professional fees included?

The professional work and any fees are agreed for the particular project. Do not assume that every drawing, application or professional service is included in a building quote.

What should I have ready?

Your postcode, a description of the work and any existing drawings are useful. Mention your intended timing and whether you expect to live in the home during the work.
